AVPro Edge Introduces the AC-DA-X2 Series: High-Performance HDMI Distribution Amplifiers
AVPro Edge, a leading manufacturer of AV technology products, particularly in the realm of HDMI distribution and amplification, has announced the launch of a new series: the AC-DA-X2. This series consists of high-performance HDMI distribution amplifiers designed to solve complex problems for residential and commercial AV integrators.
The AC-DA-12X2, one of the models in the series, is a one-input to two-output amplifier that divides HDMI signals up to 8K/60 fps. The AC-DA-14X2, another model, offers a one-input to four-output configuration. The series also includes the AC-DA-18X2, a one-input to eight-output amplifier.
Each distribution amplifier in the AC-DA-X2 series provides a 3D immersive audio format signal to a decoding audio playback device. They offer dynamic headroom for resolution compatibility and have a 48 Gbps bandwidth (Fixed Rate Link 6). This bandwidth ensures seamless transmission of high-resolution video signals.
The AC-DA-X2 series HDMI distribution amplifiers also provide extracted audio for up to 7.1 digital or 2-channel analog applications. They support gaming-focused HDMI 2.1b features and include signal downscaling for compatibility with legacy display devices.
One of the standout features of the AC-DA-X2 series is the extended 4-Block EDID support, which caters to demanding NextGen displays. The series also supports custom EDID blend, allowing the combination of EDIDs from different devices. This feature makes the AC-DA-X2 series ideal for enabling mixed-display systems to coexist at their native rates.
The functionality of the AC-DA-X2 series effectively extends the life of costly AV receivers or preamp processors. With these new distribution amplifiers, AVPro Edge continues to deliver innovative solutions that simplify the distribution of HDMI signals in complex AV systems.
