Disney Plus' Marvel Zombies series previews with a gory collaboration between Poppy and Babymetal, titled "From Me To U"
The Marvel Universe is about to face a unique twist as the much-anticipated Marvel Zombies miniseries is set to premiere on Disney Plus on September 24. This spin-off to the 2021 anthology series What If...? promises an exciting four-episode journey, with a star-studded voice cast and a catchy new soundtrack.
The voice cast for the Marvel Zombies miniseries includes Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Awkwafina as Katy, and Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch. These talented actors will bring their unique charm to the undead versions of their iconic characters, promising an entertaining watch for fans.
The miniseries directly follows the events of the What If...? episode What If... Zombies?!, which, despite mixed reviews from critics at the time of release, became one of the most enduring and popular episodes among viewers.
The new trailer for the Marvel Zombies miniseries dropped on September 3, featuring the song From Me To U by Poppy and Babymetal. This collaborative single is also featured in the album Metal Forth by Babymetal, which was released on August 8.
Metal Forth received positive reviews, including a four-star rating from Metal Hammer. The album includes numerous songs with special guests, such as Spiritbox, Polyphia, and Bloodywood, adding to its ambition as described by journalist Merlin Alderslade in his review of the album.
Babymetal is currently planning an Asian tour for September and October, and more information about their tour dates and details can be found on their website. Additionally, they will play standalone arena shows in the US, Mexico, and Japan from November to January.
